How to Plan Your IELTS Preparation Around a Full-Time Job
10 August 2026
Most working professionals do not fail IELTS because of ability. They run out of consistent practice time. The fix is a routine you can repeat on an ordinary week, not an ideal one.
Protect two short weekday slots for Reading and Listening practice, and keep your longer weekend slot for Writing and Speaking, where feedback matters most. Review corrected work before attempting new tasks — a reviewed essay teaches more than three unreviewed ones.
Before your test date, sit at least a few full-length timed practice tests. Timing, not knowledge, is what usually costs the extra half band.
